Northamerican tour round-up!
It’s been a fantastic tour with lots of fantastic audience coming out to the concerts which until Saturday August 12th only have had a few bumps on the road such as a slightly shortened set due to heavy rain, a missing suitcase for one day and a rental car breakdown so pretty much what you could expect with so much commute and logistics.
But Saturday was a true nightmare for all of us starting out with a delay of our first flight which meant that the connecting flight couldn’t be reached.
Due to lack of seats in the other flights available the band split up in 2 groups – one going to Detroit to go by car to Kitchener and the other via La Guardia in NY to Toronto.
The 3 piece group got help from two fantastic fans from Windsor (Ruth and Mike – we cannot thank you enough ) that brought us to Kitchener just in time for the 930 pm slot since our original slot at Kitchener was postponed from 630 to 930 pm but little did it help since there just kept coming new delays and cancellations from the group travelling via La Guardia. They finally arrived at 1030 pm kinda busted after 16 hours of travelling.
We ended up playing a 11 PM set at Kitchener Blues at a smaller venue instead of on the Europro Stage we were supposed to play at.
We could have dreamt of a better ending of the Northamerican tour but this is what happens when you’re a touring band on the road!
Thanks to all the fantastic fans that came to our concerts and we hope to see you all again soon!
